Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Personal Injury Attorney in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to advocating for injured clients and delivering exceptional legal representation. This full-time position offers a dynamic work environment and the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload.

Duties

  • Independently manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution, including trial.
  • Handle all aspects of litigation, including depositions, motion practice, court appearances, and trial preparation.
  • Represent clients at trial, advocating effectively to secure favorable outcomes.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and prepare cases for negotiation or litigation.
  • Collaborate with a team of legal professionals while maintaining strong client relationships.

Requirements

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Active admission to practice law in the State of Illinois and in good standing.
  • Prior experience handling personal injury cases.
  • Strong litigation skills, with the ability to independently manage cases through trial.
  • A strong commitment to client advocacy and achieving meaningful outcomes for injured individuals.

Education

  • Doctor of Law (JD)

Certifications

  • Valid Bar license in Illinois
