Job Overview
A law firm seeks an Energy Transactions and Projects Associate or Counsel in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will join a leading renewable energy and infrastructure practice, bringing significant transactional experience.

Duties

  • Engage in project development and finance transactions.
  • Handle infrastructure projects, including energy and non-energy sectors.
  • Work on conventional and renewable energy projects.
  • Participate in tax equity and PPP transactions.
  • Contribute to downstream project initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2-6 years or 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in project development or project finance preferred.
  • Familiarity with power, digital infrastructure, and renewable energy sectors.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Skills

  • Strong transactional and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects effectively.
