Duties

  • Analyze and evaluate medical records and testimonies.
  • Consult and develop medical experts to ascertain liability.
  • Investigate and gather evidence to support claims.
  • Conduct witness interviews and prepare for depositions.
  • Prepare and file legal documents and correspondence.
  • Represent clients in court and present cases to a jury.

Requirements

  • Understanding of medical terminologies and procedures.

Education

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

  • Experience with medical malpractice claims preferred.
  • Five plus years of litigation experience.
  • Minimum of five first chair jury trials to verdict.
