Duties

• Communicate with clients to understand their legal needs and provide proactive advice.
• Develop arguments to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively for clients.
• Prepare legal documents accurately and in a timely manner.
• Conduct legal research and attend hearings and other legal proceedings.
• Resolve client matters ethically and maintain organized client files.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of Michigan.
• Experience or expertise in insurance coverage and health coverage.
• Flexibility for travel.
• Ability to work independently or with a team to develop case strategies.
• Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
• Effective negotiation, research, and communication skills.
• Adaptability and attention to detail.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the State Bar of Michigan.
