This full-time, in-person position offers the opportunity to manage your own caseload while working in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate is an experienced family law practitioner who is detail-oriented, empathetic, and prepared to lead cases from strategy through court appearances.

Location

Duties

  • Manage and lead family law cases from inception to resolution

  • Conduct virtual and in-person court appearances

  • Develop legal strategy and communicate with clients on case progress

  • Draft legal documents, motions, and pleadings

  • Work collaboratively with firm staff while maintaining independence on caseloads

  • Ensure strict compliance with confidentiality and ethical standards

  • Balance quality with efficiency in a fast-paced legal setting

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience practicing family law in a law firm setting

  • Ability to manage a full caseload with support

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to maintain professionalism and empathy in client interactions

  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced legal environment

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active Illinois Bar License in good standing (required)
