Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced International Trade Attorney to join their team in Portland, OR. The role involves working with diverse business clients on complex international transactions and collaborating with attorneys across various practice areas.

Duties

• Advise clients on customs and import control matters, including tariff classification and valuation.
• Manage audits and ensure compliance with forced labor regulations.
• Handle customs enforcement of antidumping and countervailing duty orders.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of attorneys on international trade regulations.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in international trade law.
• Portable book of business required.
• Strong analytical and writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and client-service skills.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• License to practice law.
