Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Associate specializing in White Collar and Investigations for their Houston, TX office. The role involves working closely with the Human Trafficking Compliance group and representing survivors in a Pro Bono Legal Clinic. Candidates with six to eight years of experience in criminal and civil litigation, particularly in federal government investigations, are preferred.

Duties

  • Defend corporate clients in federal government investigations.
  • Conduct supply chain investigations and audits.
  • Draft and review compliance programs and policies.
  • Engage in internal investigations for companies.
  • Represent survivors in Human Trafficking Pro Bono Legal Clinic.

Requirements

  • Six to eight years of experience in criminal and civil litigation.
  • Experience in federal government investigations.
  • Background or interest in agriculture or food industries preferred.
  • Experience with corporate governance issues preferred.
  • Active bar license in the state of the office location or commitment to obtain one.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active bar license in the relevant state.
