Duties

  • Review complex matters requiring attorney-level decisions.
  • Perform legal research to support case strategy.
  • Communicate with clients regarding case status and outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the case management system.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate to improve legal workflows and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Strong legal analysis and strategic decision-making skills.
  • Effective oral advocacy and negotiation skills.
  • Clear communication with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong time management and ability to handle a high-volume caseload.
  • Ability to work within established processes and protocols.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and procedures.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in California and in good standing.

Skills

  • Knowledge of workers' compensation statutes and regulations.
  • Experience with legal ethics and professional responsibility.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
