The successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal counsel, draft and review legal documents, and support case management efforts to ensure the highest standards of legal service.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies.
  • Draft legal documents including contracts, motions, pleadings, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
  • Assist in trial preparation by organizing evidence, preparing witnesses, and developing case strategies.
  • Represent clients in court depositions and other legal proceedings with professionalism.
  • Manage case files efficiently using legal case management systems.
  • Negotiate settlements and legal terms on behalf of clients with strategic insight.
  • Provide clear communication to clients regarding case status and legal options.
  • Stay informed about statutory laws and procedural rules relevant to each practice area.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in general and commercial litigation, personal injury law, or employment law cases is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with estate planning, environmental law, immigration law, family law, securities law, workers' compensation law, tribal law, patent law, or related fields is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw effectively.
  • Experience preparing legal motions, conducting court depositions, and trial preparation is advantageous.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise legal documents under tight deadlines.
  • Prior law office experience involving client communication and case management is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of procedural laws across different jurisdictions enhances effectiveness.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
