Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced associate to join their Technology & Outsourcing practice group in Chicago, IL. The successful candidate will lead complex commercial transactions with a focus on blockchain and cryptocurrency matters.

Duties

• Lead complex commercial transactions in the blockchain and cryptocurrency sectors.
• Draft and negotiate technology transaction agreements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide legal guidance.
• Identify and summarize key legal issues succinctly.

Requirements

• Significant knowledge and experience in crypto/blockchain.
• 2-5 years of experience in technology transactions and commercial contracting, preferably at a law firm.
• Must be barred in the jurisdiction where you will practice.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
