Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level Business Litigation Associate for its Salt Lake City, UT office. The ideal candidate will have over three years of recent experience in business litigation and must be licensed to practice in Utah. Strong writing skills and excellent academic credentials are essential.

Duties

  • Conduct legal research and analysis for pleadings and memoranda.
  • Draft pleadings and other case documents.
  • Attend hearings and manage cases from start to resolution.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and supervising attorneys.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate with excellent academic credentials.
  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing in Utah.
  • Familiarity with federal and state court procedural rules.
  • Experience in case management and drafting litigation documents.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and teamwork skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctorate

  • Licensed to practice law in Utah
