Job Overview

A law firm seeks a litigation associate attorney for its Southeast Litigation group in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role involves handling residential and commercial foreclosures, title disputes, and other real estate matters. Duties

• Manage a caseload of contested matters for mortgage lenders and investors.
• Appear in court for routine and contested hearings.
• Communicate regularly with clients for updates and case resolutions.
• Analyze loan files and title reports; draft motions and discovery documents.

Requirements

• J.D. degree, licensed in Florida, and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• 1-3 years of litigation experience in mortgage foreclosure or civil litigation preferred.
• Knowledge of Florida Mortgage Foreclosure process and Civil Procedure.

• J.D. degree

• Licensed to practice law in Florida
