Duties:

• Prepare patent applications and draft responses to USPTO office actions

• Contribute to strategic patent portfolio development and client advisement

• Stay current with developments in relevant technological fields

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of prior law firm experience in patent drafting or prosecution

• Demonstrated ability to handle complex technical content and legal documentation

• Proven analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based setting

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a closely related discipline

• Advanced technical degrees are considered a strong asset

Certifications:

• USPTO registration required or eligibility to sit for the USPTO registration exam

Skills:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English

• Strong scientific and technical comprehension, especially in medtech domains

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and client service
