Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Private Client International Trusts & Estates Planning Associate to join their team in Miami. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in international estate planning for high-net-worth individuals and companies, with a focus on cross-border tax planning and compliance.

Duties

  • Advise U.S. and non-U.S. taxpayers on wealth management structures.
  • Plan for the purchase of U.S. property by non-U.S. persons.
  • Ensure compliance with tax and reporting obligations for overseas interests.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet client needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in international estate planning.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and develop creative solutions.
  • Member in good standing in the jurisdiction of practice.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
