A law firm seeks a patent prosecution attorney to join its Dallas, TX office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and experience in intellectual property law.

Duties

• Draft and prosecute patent applications.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their inventions.
• Conduct patentability and freedom-to-operate analyses.
• Advise clients on patent strategy and portfolio management.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience in a law firm setting.
• Experience with telecom, AI, and/or software preferred.

Education

• Degree in electrical engineering, physics, or computer science.

Certifications

• USPTO registration required.
