Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney in St. Louis, MO. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of client representation in workers' compensation cases, providing guidance to non-attorney staff and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Duties

  • Proactively communicate with clients to provide updates and claim status.
  • Interact and negotiate with insurance companies.
  • Draft case materials, correspondence, pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Ensure accuracy of all documents prepared.
  • Comply with all legal standards and regulations.
  • Represent clients at hearings, depositions, mediations, and other proceedings.

Requirements

  • Active Bar license in Missouri; Illinois license preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Missouri.
