Finance Associate / Senior Associate

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a finance associate or senior associate for its Dallas, TX office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of experience in debt finance transactions and a strong background in representing various financial entities.

Duties

• Represent commercial bank and private credit lenders in debt financing transactions.
• Advise private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers on financing matters.
• Engage in senior-secured, junior-secured, and mezzanine lending activities.
• Participate in acquisition and leveraged financings.
• Contribute to structured financings and credit investments.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of relevant experience.
• Experience with private credit and alternative capital transactions preferred.
• Familiarity with data center financing is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in Texas or eligibility to waive in.
