General Liability Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a driven attorney to join their General Liability practice group in Bonita Springs, FL. The attorney will defend businesses and individuals in various legal matters, including premises liability, products liability, and other torts.

Duties

• Take and defend depositions
• Draft and argue dispositive motions
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials
• Perform legal research and provide case law analysis
• Prepare pleadings and correspondence
• Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel
• Provide exemplary legal counsel to clients

Requirements

• Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior litigation experience preferred, but not required

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Florida
