Job Overview

A law firm seeks a partner or of counsel to join the Energy practice group in Minneapolis. The ideal candidate will bring a portable book of business and possess experience in FERC regulatory, RTO, and transactional matters. Experience with MISO, PJM, and/or SPP is preferred.

Duties

  • Provide legal counsel on energy-related matters.
  • Engage in regulatory and transactional work.
  • Collaborate with team members to support client needs.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships.

Requirements

  • Experience in FERC regulatory and RTO matters.
  • Transactional experience in the energy sector.
  • Experience with MISO, PJM, and/or SPP preferred.
  • Portable book of business required.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
