Duties

• Handle construction defect and habitability litigation from intake through resolution.
• Conduct all aspects of discovery.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
• Appear in state court for hearings, conferences, and mediations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with partners and associates on case strategy.
• Produce high-quality written work reflecting strong research and analytical skills.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 5+ years of construction defect litigation experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• State courtroom experience.
• Trial experience a plus but not required.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership with the California State Bar.
