Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Civil Litigation Attorney for a hybrid role in Los Angeles, CA. This full-time position involves managing litigation cases from initiation to completion in state and federal courts and arbitration. The role requires three days in the office.

Duties

• Manage litigation cases from start to finish.
• Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Argue motions and make court appearances.
• Interface and build relationships with clients.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Prepare for and participate in trials.

Requirements

• 3-8 years of civil litigation experience required.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school (Top 50 preferred).

Certifications

• Admission to the California State Bar.
