Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Bankruptcy Attorney in Pennsylvania to represent creditors in federal bankruptcy court. The role involves drafting motions, preparing proofs of claims, and defending creditor interests throughout the bankruptcy process.

Duties

• Draft motions for relief from the automatic stay.
• Prepare and defend secured creditor proofs of claims.
• Defend motions to value.
• Draft pleadings to protect creditor interests.
• Ensure accurate and timely updates to the firm's systems of record.
• Collaborate with attorneys, support staff, and firm members.

Requirements

• Bar License in the state of PA (required); multiple licenses a plus.
• Over eight years of experience in civil litigation, real estate, or equivalent fields preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately and productively.
• Preferred knowledge of TILA, RESPA, and FDCPA.
• Experience in appellate practice is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications
