Job Overview

A law firm seeks a partner-level attorney in Portland, OR, with at least seven years of experience in franchise law and a portable book of business. This role involves working with diverse business clients on complex franchise matters across various industry sectors.

Duties

• Navigate franchise agreements, disclosure requirements, and compliance issues.
• Resolve disputes related to franchise matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas.
• Represent franchisors, franchisees, manufacturers, and distributors.
• Draft franchise agreements and related documents.
• Advise on compliance and handle governmental inquiries.

Requirements

• Portable book of business required.
• 7 years of expertise in franchise law.
• Experience with offering documentation and franchise agreements.
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school and license to practice law.
• Strong academic credentials and analytical skills.
• Exceptional communication and client-service approach.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
