Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly skilled Real Estate Associate to join its practice in Dallas, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to engage in sophisticated transactions for premier clients, supported by robust resources and mentorship.

Duties

  • Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, and related real estate contracts.
  • Lead due diligence, including title and survey review, and zoning and land use analyses.
  • Coordinate and close acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and development transactions.
  • Manage workstreams, mentor junior lawyers, and ensure timely, high-quality client deliverables.

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of sophisticated real estate transactional experience.
  • Proven track record in leading acquisitions, dispositions, and complex lease negotiations.
  • Experience at a major law firm with a national practice is required.
  • Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of practice.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the relevant state.
