Job Title: Leasing Attorney

Job Overview:
A Bradenton-based law firm with a robust real estate practice seeks a detail-oriented attorney to assist with a broad spectrum of leasing transactions. This position, offered through a legal recruiting partner, involves providing legal support for a diverse property portfolio spanning commercial, retail, mixed-use, healthcare, and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will bring practical experience in lease drafting, negotiation, and client advisory, with a working understanding of landlord-tenant matters and regulatory compliance.

Duties:

  • Draft and revise lease agreements, lease amendments, and related documentation

  • Negotiate lease terms on behalf of property owners and developers

  • Advise clients on commercial leasing strategy and risk mitigation

  • Interpret complex lease provisions and address compliance concerns

  • Collaborate with internal legal and transactional teams on multi-asset projects

  • Maintain knowledge of real estate and landlord-tenant law developments

  • Conduct legal research as needed for lease transactions and enforcement

Requirements:

  • 2-5 years of substantive experience in commercial leasing

  • Proficiency with lease negotiation and documentation for diverse asset types

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client interaction

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple leasing transactions simultaneously

  • Must be licensed to practice in Florida and good standing

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to The Florida Bar (active and in good standing)

Skills:

  • High attention to detail in contract drafting and legal analysis

  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and in team settings
