Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Litigation practice in Rogers, Arkansas. The ideal candidate will have up to five years of experience in Health Care or Commercial Litigation and a keen interest in complex litigation matters. This role offers the opportunity to take a substantive and leading role in various cases while collaborating closely with experienced partners and clients.

Duties

  • Manage complex litigation matters in federal and state courts and arbitration forums nationwide.
  • Handle client communications, motion practice, discovery, court appearances, mediations, and settlements.
  • Take and defend fact and expert depositions.

Requirements

  • Desire to take on substantive roles in cases, including hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong research skills and strategic, analytical mindset.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Commitment to achieving client goals.

Education

  • Currently admitted to practice in Arkansas with an active bar license or able to be admitted within one year.
  • Excellent academic credentials.

Certifications

  • Active bar license in good standing.

Skills

  • Experience in civil litigation preferred.
  • Experience in complex business litigation, medical malpractice, product liability, or other tort litigation preferred.
