A law firm seeks a Remote Business Immigration Attorney based in Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will prepare and file employment-based immigration cases, focusing on EB1, EB2-NIW, and RFEs. This role requires working with clients from diverse backgrounds and handling various visa types in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Prepare cases, legal strategies, and cover letters diligently.
  • Develop an expert-level understanding of client cases.
  • Manage projects, deadlines, and document preparation.
  • Explain legal terminology to clients succinctly.
  • Research legal issues and stay updated on legislative changes.
  • Develop solutions to complex legal questions.
  • Provide training on legal topics and immigration laws.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and foreign nationals.
  • Assess eligibility for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status.
  • Prepare petitions for submission to DOL and USCIS.
  • Supervise paralegal staff in record keeping and document preparation.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited US law school.
  • Admitted to a US state bar in good standing.
  • 1-2 years of experience with EB1, EB2-NIW, O-1, and RFEs preferred.
  • Bilingual in Mandarin is a plus.
  • High-level organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn across practice areas.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Education
