Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified and motivated mid-level Real Estate Associate to join their team in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate transactions and the ability to manage complex deals from inception to completion.

Duties

  • Represent property owners and investors in real estate and finance transactions.
  • Draft and review core transaction documents.
  • Manage transactions from inception through closing and post-closing.
  • Collaborate with institutional lenders, private equity, and developers.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of experience in real estate debt transactions.
  • Experience representing lenders or borrowers.
  • Ability to navigate complex subject matter effectively.
  • Superior writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Active bar admission in the jurisdiction of practice.

Skills

  • Experience in acquisition, mezzanine, construction financings, and loan modifications.
  • Experience with joint ventures and equity arrangements is a plus.
  • Strong academic credentials.
