Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Environmental Associate for its Denver, Colorado office. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with diverse clients across various industries nationwide.

Duties

  • Engage in environmental, natural resources law, and related litigation.
  • Conduct research and analysis on air quality, natural resource development, and administrative law.
  • Manage multiple work streams and meet time-sensitive responsibilities.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Occasionally travel for work-related purposes.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in environmental law and litigation.
  • Strong academic credentials and analytical skills.
  • Experience in air quality, natural resource development, and administrative law.
  • Preferred experience in water quality, water law, and waste law.
  • Admission to the Colorado Bar or eligibility for admission.
  • Experience as a judicial clerk or with a national law firm or environmental agency preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Colorado Bar.
