A law firm seeks a Personal Injury Attorney (Pre-Litigation) to join their Phoenix, AZ office. This role involves managing high-value plaintiff-side matters through the pre-litigation phase, focusing on case strategy, client communication, and settlement negotiations.

Duties

  • Manage a high-volume caseload of plaintiff-side personal injury matters from intake through settlement.
  • Develop and execute case strategy, including liability analysis and damages evaluation.
  • Draft and present demand packages to insurance carriers.
  • Negotiate settlements directly with adjusters to maximize case value.
  • Maintain strong client relationships and provide consistent case updates.
  • Collaborate with case managers, lien negotiators, and internal teams to drive case progression.
  • Evaluate cases for litigation readiness and partner with litigation attorneys when escalation is required.

Requirements

  • Active license to practice law in Arizona.
  • 6-10 years of experience in personal injury or related litigation.
  • Plaintiff-side personal injury experience preferred; candidates with insurance defense or defense-side litigation backgrounds will also be considered.
  • Proven ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable settlements.
  • Deep understanding of liability, damages, and insurance practices.
  • Excellent client communication and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Active Arizona State Bar membership.

Skills
