Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Mid-Level Renewable Energy Transactions Associate Attorney to join its Phoenix, AZ office. This role involves working within a sophisticated national practice, focusing on renewable energy projects, including development, commercial, financing, and transactional areas.

Duties

  • Collaborate with attorneys in the Renewable Energy group.
  • Engage in project development and transactional work.
  • Negotiate, draft, and close complex commercial agreements.
  • Advise on tax credit matters, including ITCs and PTCs.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in renewable or conventional energy transactions.
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions, financing, real estate, and/or project development.
  • Strong writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Licensed to practice in or eligible for admission without examination in Arizona.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Arizona State Bar or eligibility for admission without examination.

Skills

  • Proficiency in negotiating and drafting legal documents.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
