Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Healthcare Associate with 3-6 years of experience in healthcare transactions for its Chicago, IL office. The successful candidate will join the Corporate, M&A, and Securities group, focusing on healthcare-related mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.

Duties

• Advise clients on healthcare regulatory issues, including Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and HIPAA.
• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, such as physician employment agreements and management service agreements.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of substantive experience in healthcare transactions.
• Admitted to practice law in the respective state.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and confident team player.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Illinois.
