Junior Renewable Energy Transactions Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Junior Renewable Energy Transactions Associate Attorney to join its Energy, Environmental, Mining, and Transportation Division in Omaha, NE. The successful candidate will engage in diverse renewable energy work, including project development, commercial transactions, and financing.

Duties

• Collaborate with attorneys in the Renewable Energy group.
• Engage in project development and transactional practice areas.
• Negotiate, draft, and close commercial agreements.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in renewable or conventional energy transactions, or comparable experience in mergers and acquisitions, financing, real estate, and/or project development.
• Familiarity with tax credit matters, including ITCs or PTCs, is a plus.
• Licensed to practice in or eligible for admission without examination in Nebraska.

Education

• Excellent academic credentials required.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Nebraska or eligible for admission without examination.

Skills

• Strong writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
