Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Associate in Austin, TX, with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience. This role involves working with sophisticated clients on complex real estate transactions, focusing on data center and energy-related projects.

Duties

  • Draft purchase and sale agreements, particularly for power infrastructure contingencies.
  • Analyze development issues including power, water, fiberoptic infrastructure, zoning, entitlements, permits, and land use.
  • Close real estate transactions efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • Experience with data center development and financing preferred.
  • Am Law 100 firm experience required.
  • Excellent writing and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Education

  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission promptly in the jurisdiction of resident office location.

Skills

  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents related to real estate transactions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
