Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Inventory Attorney in Baltimore, MD. The role involves supporting litigation processes, coordinating workstreams, and mentoring legal staff to ensure high-quality deliverables. The attorney will manage case inventories, maintain deadline controls, and collaborate with internal teams to enhance litigation support workflows.

Duties

  • Understand and translate litigation requirements into operational activities.
  • Maintain deadline controls and ensure escalation protocols are followed.
  • Drive filing readiness by ensuring documentation supports timely decisions.
  • Deliver a client experience based on trust and insight.
  • Assist in coordinating tasks for paralegals and case managers.
  • Oversee compliance with court rules and filing protocols.
  • Manage post-filing litigation requirements, including discovery and trial preparation.
  • Collaborate to develop efficient procedures and improve workflows.
  • Mentor and train legal support staff.

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to engage clients with clarity and professionalism.

Education

  • JD required.

Certifications

  • Admission to at least one U.S. state bar required.

Skills

  • Experience with complex litigation preferred.
  • Experience mentoring and supervising others preferred.
  • Experience using CM/ECF, PACER, Westlaw, and Litify.
