Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team in one of their Michigan offices, with a preference for Grand Rapids. The firm's trial attorneys frequently appear in state and federal courts, administrative proceedings, and appellate courts throughout Michigan and the Midwest. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in a variety of commercial litigation matters.

Duties

  • Assist the litigation team with commercial litigation cases.
  • Appear in state and federal courts as needed.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Provide exceptional client service and maintain responsiveness.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of litigation experience.
  • Law firm or federal clerkship experience preferred.
  • Admission to the Michigan bar is required.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

  • Licensed to practice law in Michigan.
