Junior/Senior-Level Attorney (Civil Litigation)

Job Overview

Duties

• Independently manage files and lead a team.
• Follow systems and processes for efficient file management.
• Adopt a proactive approach to case handling.
• Utilize case management and billing programs effectively.
• Handle cases in both state and federal courts.
• Conduct depositions and argue motions/appeals.
• Perform excellent research, writing, and verbal communication tasks, including negotiation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of litigation experience.
• Licensed to practice in Louisiana and/or Mississippi preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Bar admission in relevant state(s).

Skills

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficiency in case management software.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
