Job Overview

A law firm seeks a General Liability Pre-Suit Attorney for its office in Naples, Florida. This role offers an opportunity to gain expertise in Personal Injury, focusing on General Liability, while working alongside experienced attorneys committed to mentoring new professionals.

Duties

  • Handle all pre-litigation work daily.
  • Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval process.
  • Guide clients through the case process.
  • Draft and file pre-litigation documents.
  • Complete TD approval for liability issues.
  • Oversee settlement negotiations and demand package formation.
  • Manage the release approval process.
  • Lead a team of 6-10 Case Managers.
  • Focus on personal injury cases, primarily automotive.
  • Drive compliance and KPIs among the team.
  • Conduct EUOs, PIP statements, and recorded statements.

Requirements

  • Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing with the FL State Bar Association.
  • 1+ years of personal injury experience.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation cases.
  • Excellent client service and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
  • Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Active membership with the Florida State Bar Association.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and client service skills.
  • Proficient in drafting and filing legal documents.
  • Ability to oversee settlement negotiations effectively.
