Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Supervising Attorney for their Personal Injury Pre-Litigation department in Torrance, CA. The role involves leading a team of attorneys and case managers to secure significant settlements in wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, catastrophic injury, and major orthopedic cases.

Duties

  • Manage a significant caseload and a team of case managers.
  • Provide informative and compassionate client service.
  • Collaborate with departments such as Property Damage, Case Management, Demands/Negotiation, and Liens.
  • Communicate daily with clients regarding legal strategy and treatment plans.
  • Analyze fact patterns to help clear coverage and establish liability.

Requirements

  • Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Personal Injury law.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to supervise and provide guidance and counsel.
  • Experience settling cases in the pre-litigation stage.
  • Spanish fluency is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • California State Bar license.
