Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Federal Litigation Attorney in Spokane Valley, WA. The ideal candidate will be committed to advocating for clients' rights and possess a strong desire to impact lives positively. Duties

  • Handle complex federal litigation cases with expertise.
  • Conduct extensive legal research and craft persuasive briefs and motions.
  • Prepare meticulously for trials and/or oral arguments.
  • Manage multiple federal litigation cases concurrently.
  • Ensure timely execution of case development.

Requirements

  • J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited School of Law.
  • Active bar membership in good standing in any U.S. state.
  • At least 5 years of post-J.D. litigation experience in federal courts.
  • Experience in trial advocacy, legal research, and writing.
  • Strong understanding of federal laws and regulations.
  • Understanding of federal procedure and courtroom protocol.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
  • Persuasiveness and reasoned judgment.
  • Complex case management skills.
  • Experience in immigration/appellate law is highly desired.
  • Writing sample of a legal brief or comparable legal writing required.

Education

  • J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited School of Law.

Certifications

  • Active bar membership in any U.S. state.
