Job Overview

A law firm seeks a litigation associate attorney for its Uptown Dallas office. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of sophisticated litigation experience in a big or mid-size law firm, handling complex matters in both state and federal court.

Duties

• Support and work on commercial and business litigation.
• Engage in securities and intellectual property litigation.
• Participate in employment litigation and other complex matters.
• Conduct hearings and depositions.
• Draft discovery and engage in motion practice.
• Communicate effectively with clients.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of litigation experience in a big or mid-size law firm.
• Excellent oral and written advocacy skills.
• Strong academic credentials and work ethic.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.

Skills

• Proficiency in handling complex litigation matters.
