Job Overview

Duties

  • Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, operating agreements, and commercial contracts.
  • Advise clients on entity formation, corporate governance, and business structure optimization.
  • Assist with oil & gas transactions, title opinions, and curative work.
  • Support M&A due diligence, deal structuring, and transaction logistics.
  • Prepare estate planning documents including wills, trusts, and business succession plans.
  • Conduct sophisticated legal research and draft memoranda.
  • Participate directly in client meetings and relationship management.
  • Contribute to firm business development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in Oklahoma.
  • 0-2 years of experience, ideally in business or transactional law.
  • Strong academic credentials (top 30% of class preferred).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and competing deadlines.
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
