Job Overview:
A nationally respected law firm is seeking an experienced Immigration Partner to lead and expand its business immigration practice. This partner-level role is best suited for an attorney with deep expertise in employment-based immigration, a portable book of business, and a passion for client service and team leadership. The successful candidate will advise multinational corporate clients, manage high-level visa strategies, and contribute to firm growth through practice development and mentorship.

Location:

  • Palm Beach, FL

Duties:

  • Provide legal guidance on complex employment-based immigration matters

  • Counsel clients on preparing and filing petitions in the following classifications:

    • Nonimmigrant: E-1, E-2, H-1B, L-1, O-1

    • Immigrant: EB-1, EB-2, EB-3

  • Assist clients with adjustment of status processes and related filings

  • Offer strategic immigration counsel across a wide range of industries

  • Monitor and interpret U.S. immigration law and policy developments to ensure compliance

  • Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to deliver comprehensive legal solutions

  • Identify and mitigate risks related to immigration compliance for corporate clients

  • Lead and mentor attorneys and legal professionals within the immigration team

  • Initiate and execute business development strategies to grow the immigration practice

  • Expand client base by leveraging existing relationships and building new connections

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in business immigration law

  • Proven history of managing complex immigration matters for corporate clients

  • Existing client portfolio in corporate immigration strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated leadership in legal team management and business development

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

  • Admission in New York or New Jersey preferred, based on office location

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. immigration law and visa classifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities

  • Excellent legal research, drafting, and advisory skills

  • Business acumen and experience in client relationship management

  • Ability to lead and grow a legal practice area in a collaborative firm environment

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on client service and innovation
