A law firm seeks an Associate Litigation Attorney in Carmel, IN. This role focuses on personal injury litigation, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and other injury-related matters. Duties

  • Manage personal injury litigation cases from filing through resolution.
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case-related analysis.
  • Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, and court appearances.
  • Assist with trial preparation and support litigation strategy.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and guide them through the litigation process.
  • Review and analyze medical records and supporting evidence.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
  • Participate in training programs and professional development.

Requirements

  • Indiana Bar license required.
  • Active member in good standing with a state bar association.
  • 3 years of litigation experience required.
  • 1 year of personal injury experience required.
  • Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Excellent client communication and service skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Self-starter motivated by long-term career growth.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

  • Indiana Bar license.

Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and professional judgment.
  • Experience handling personal injury and insurance-related matters preferred.
