Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Antitrust Associate to join its team in Richmond, Virginia. The successful candidate will engage in a dynamic practice involving civil litigation, class action defense, and antitrust matters, providing significant responsibility and growth opportunities.

Duties

  • Participate in antitrust audits and compliance programs.
  • Engage in antitrust counseling and litigation.
  • Handle government investigations and enforcement matters.
  • Assist in mergers and acquisitions and international cartel investigations.
  • Contribute to class action litigation and private treble damage litigation.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of antitrust experience.
  • Background in civil litigation and class action defense.
  • Excellent academic credentials and writing skills.
  • Large firm experience preferred.
  • Completion of a federal clerkship is strongly considered.
  • Virginia bar admission required.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Virginia State Bar.
