Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Estate Planning Attorney for its North Palm Beach, FL office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience and a strong desire to serve clients in need of estate planning. A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and a license to practice law in Florida are required. Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail.

Duties

  • Assist clients by understanding their needs, analyzing situations, and strategizing appropriate actions.
  • Draft and file wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are current.
  • Advise clients on retirement plans, charitable giving, and insurance options.
  • Collaborate with partners and paralegals to move files through the civil litigation process.
  • Advise clients on funding trusts and aligning assets with estate plans.
  • Manage estate administration from open to close.
  • Work with paralegals and legal staff, assigning and monitoring work.
  • Monitor caseload pipeline and act to move cases forward.
  • Engage in business development and community engagement.
  • Manage client relationships.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience in estate planning.
  • Licensed to practice law in Florida.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Education
