Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level associate to join its Litigation group in Miami, FL. The successful candidate will engage in diverse legal work, contributing to case management and client interaction while developing their professional skills in a dynamic environment.

Duties

• Assist in managing cases from inception to resolution, including legal research and drafting pleadings.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
• Conduct thorough legal research and draft legal documents such as briefs and motions.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to develop case strategies.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and stay updated on legal precedents.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance legal skills.
• Engage in pro bono work to provide legal assistance to underserved communities.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of strong litigation experience across various practices.
• Law firm experience is required.
• Federal court clerkship is a plus.
