Job Overview

A law firm seeks a skilled Estate Planning Attorney in Acton, MA, with 3-5 years of experience. The successful candidate will have a strong background in estate planning, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping families navigate the complexities of planning for their futures. This role involves working closely with clients to develop customized estate plans and provide guidance on related matters.

Duties

  • Develop comprehensive estate plans and trust documents tailored to families with young children.
  • Assist parents in creating guardianship plans for minor children.
  • Draft, review, and finalize estate planning documents.
  • Conduct educational workshops and webinars for the community, including after-hour events.
  • Network with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to create cross-referral opportunities.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to Paralegals and Legal Assistants.
  • Collaborate with the Firm owner and legal team to enhance workflow processes.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in estate planning.
  • Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts; NH admission is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of estate planning laws.
  • Experience with asset protection planning.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office; HubSpot experience is a plus.
  • Experience with software-based estate planning platforms like Inter Active Legal or Wealth Docx is a plus.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.
