Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience as a public defender or a Commonwealth Attorney.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • VA Bar License.
  • Strong legal writing, analysis, and drafting skills.
  • Willingness to travel to different courts in Northern Virginia.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Active Virginia Bar License.

Skills

  • Legal writing and analysis.
  • Ability to travel regularly to western Virginia.
  • Spanish speaking skills are a plus.
