Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Junior Renewable Energy Transactions Associate Attorney in Jefferson City, MO. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team within the Energy, Environmental, Mining, and Transportation Division, focusing on renewable energy projects. This role offers the opportunity to engage in diverse transactional work, including project development, commercial agreements, and financing.

Duties

• Collaborate with attorneys on renewable energy projects.
• Negotiate, draft, and close commercial agreements.
• Engage in project development and financing transactions.
• Assist with mergers and acquisitions related to energy.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in energy transactions or related fields.
• Exposure to negotiating and drafting commercial agreements.
• Familiarity with tax credit matters is a plus.
• Licensed to practice in or eligible for admission in Missouri.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed attorney in good standing.
